Data Engineer

Location: Full remote work model based in Portugal; requires availability to relocate within Portugal, Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Build and maintain data pipelines.
• Work with ETL and ELT processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes.
• Apply data modeling methodologies including Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.
• Work with Azure Cloud services and data platforms such as MongoDB, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and deep expertise in Python.
• Vast experience with DBT.
• Experience building data pipelines and working with ETL, ELT, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and its services.
• Strong understanding of Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault data modeling methodologies.
• Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Fluency in English at least at B2 level.
• Availability for a full remote work model based in Portugal, with Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MQTT.
