Senior Data Engineer (Azure)

Location: 100% remote within Portugal; Lisbon, Portugal

Salary: €28,000–€52,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop data engineering and data quality solutions for client projects.
• Write and optimize SQL and SQL-like queries.
• Build and maintain ETL and ELT processes.
• Work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure services.
• Apply data modeling methodologies to support reliable data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Quality Engineer.
• Expert-level development experience with SQL and SQL-like query languages.
• Deep expertise in Python.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Experience with ETL and ELT.
• Experience with Azure cloud and its services.
• Strong understanding of different data modeling methodologies.
