Technical Team Lead - OutSystems Developer (OutSystems)

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day technical execution across one or more Agile delivery teams and guide developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance professionals.
• Architect and oversee scalable, maintainable, and secure OutSystems-based solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, security standards, platform governance, and application lifecycle management.
• Coordinate platform operations, on-call support, environment management, production incident resolution, root cause analysis, and technical debt reduction.
• Facilitate technical estimation, sprint planning, capacity planning, delivery risk management, dependency resolution, and technical documentation.
• Represent assigned business domains, build stakeholder relationships, identify process improvement and automation opportunities, and translate business priorities into technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Mentor developers and contribute hands-on through complex features, integrations, reusable frameworks, code reviews, troubleshooting, pair programming, release activities, and production readiness reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading technical teams or mentoring developers in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.
• Advanced expertise in development and architecture design for web or mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, SOLID, MVC, and design patterns applicable to low-code platforms.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI design.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integration methodologies and API-first development.
• Intermediate or advanced SQL and data modeling skills using platforms such as SQL Server, Snowflake, or Oracle.
• Practical understanding of feature toggles, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Application Insights, Dynatrace, or similar observability and reliability engineering tools.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using OutSystems Service Studio and browser developer tools, plus the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders, make technical tradeoff decisions, influence without direct authority, and balance business priorities with technical constraints.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience managing development, staging, and production environments.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent delivery streams or Agile teams.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js SPA frameworks.
• Awareness of CoPilot, SonarLint, or SonarQube.
• Exposure to .NET and its integration with low-code platforms.
• OutSystems certifications or knowledge of OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).
• Experience with OutSystems is a plus.
