Program Manager - MC&I; (63470) (Energy Engineering)

Location: Remote or local/in-office in Lakewood, Colorado, USA. Full-time remote candidates are eligible; office and some field work are required for local/in-office work. Typical travel is 0–10%.

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 per year, based on the Denver, Colorado labor market.

What you will do

• Manage the client relationship and serve as the single point of contact between the client and hirify.global.
• Coordinate Technical Directors, Project Managers, and project execution teams across substation, solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Lead client meetings, provide schedule and engineering progress updates, handle information requests, and manage project documentation.
• Negotiate schedules, scopes, and contract terms with client and NEI leadership, and support onboarding of new projects.
• Develop processes that improve efficiency, quality, profitability, and client services across multiple projects.
• Lead business development activities for the assigned client and coordinate with Client Services.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a project or program management role.
• Extensive hands-on experience working on MasTec projects.
• Familiarity with electrical substations, transmission lines, medium-voltage collection and distribution, photovoltaic engineering, and battery storage.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CPM scheduling, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain calm and effective exchanges during stressful situations.
• Excellent organizational skills, including clear project plans and executive-level reporting that supports timely decisions in time-pressured situations.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and manage an assigned work schedule with supervisor input.
