IT Support Technician (Windows)

Location: Onsite in Portland, Oregon, 5 days a week; US-based candidates only.

Salary: $15–$20 per hour; W2; initial 6-month contract with possible indefinite extension.

What you will do

• Provide onsite IT and desktop support to end users.
• Support Windows 10/11 environments and troubleshoot desktop-related issues.
• Configure, deploy, commission, and decommission laptops and other IT equipment.
• Prepare hardware for new starters and departing employees.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and collecting IT equipment.
• Support the wider global IT team and collaborate with teams across multiple locations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Requirements

• 13 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11.
• Experience working with laptops and IT hardware.
• Ability to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware.
• Experience commissioning and decommissioning IT equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Portland, Oregon 5 days a week.
• US-based candidates only.
