Civil Engineering Technician-Internship (Civil 3D)

Location: Onsite in Boise, Idaho, USA. Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

Salary: $18–$22 per hour, based on year in school. Hourly, non-exempt role with overtime paid at 1.5 times the base hourly rate.

What you will do

• Support civil design and plan review for construction projects, prioritizing requirements and tracking updates.
• Produce and refine construction design deliverables using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with site observations by documenting progress, taking notes and photos, and recording follow-ups.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other external stakeholders.
• Package updated files for review and confirm next steps to keep projects moving from concept to construction.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to perform field-related physical demands, including frequently lifting 25 lbs and occasionally lifting 50 lbs.
• Availability for a seasonal schedule from Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings is required.
