Bridge Intern, Summer 2027 (Bridge Engineering)

Compensation: $20–$26 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist engineers with civil transportation and site engineering development projects.
• Prepare preliminary and final drawings, layouts, designs, plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Support studies, design analysis, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports, and related documentation.
• Complete simple to moderate calculations, including quantities.
• Conduct site visits and support bridge engineering, bridge inspection, and CAD design activities.

Requirements

• Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar program.
• Focus in Transportation or Structures (Bridge).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and MicroStation.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in organizing and presenting documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong self-initiative and desire to learn.
