Senior Backend Developer (Python/Golang, AI Integration & SAP)

Location: Colombia; remote home-office work.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs with Go and Python.
• Apply microservices and event-driven architecture principles to distributed applications.
• Integrate LLM capabilities, RAG pipelines, tool calling, and AI orchestration patterns into backend services.
• Build and integrate cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement distributed caching with Redis and optimize performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Design resilient architectures with fault tolerance, retries, timeouts, and appropriate error handling.

Requirements

• Senior-level backend engineering experience.
• Go (Golang) and Python.
• SAP S/4HANA and ERP integration via OData, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and middleware.
• Azure integration with APIM, Service Bus, Event Hubs, PostgreSQL, SQL, Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Key Vault, networking, and infrastructure as code.
• Redis, distributed caching, cache-aside, and cache invalidation.
• LLM integration, tool calling, RAG, and AI coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code, and Copilot.
• Microservices, event-driven systems, resiliency, and retries.

• SAP BTP, CPI, MDG, and Variant Configuration.
