Implementation Consultant (InsurTech)

Location: Brussels; hybrid workplace with up to three remote days per week and the ability to work from anywhere for one month per year.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end technical implementation lifecycle for complex business partners, from post-sales handover through technical setup, configuration, testing, go-live, and initial hypercare.
• Work with partner developers, architects, and IT teams on API consumption, data mapping, webhook setup, and configuration of the platform.
• Act as the primary technical contact during implementation, diagnosing and resolving complex integration issues for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Configure, test, and validate partner-specific solutions against business requirements and technical specifications.
• Oversee UAT and integration testing to ensure data accuracy, system performance, and a smooth post-launch user experience.
• Collaborate with project managers, configurators, business analysts, product managers, engineers, and customer success managers; document best practices, technical guides, FAQs, and implementation methodologies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Implementation Consultant, Technical Consultant, or Integration Engineer in a B2B SaaS environment with complex API-driven products.
• Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, webhooks, and modern data integration patterns.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to lead multiple complex technical implementations simultaneously through successful completion.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and build client relationships.
• Meticulous problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• A highly organized and autonomous mindset suited to a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL database queries and scripting.
• Experience in FinTech, InsurTech, or another regulated industry involving complex data or business rules.
• French, Dutch, or German language skills.
