Senior Implementation Engineer (Content Services)

What you will do

• Lead requirements analysis, business and technical consulting, architecture sessions, and recommended-practice discussions for enterprise solutions.
• Design, configure, customize, and implement large-scale enterprise deployments, integrations, add-ons, and technical architectures focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Prepare requirements documentation, specifications, test cases, user stories, design documents, estimates, and other client deliverables.
• Lead solution demonstrations, manage stakeholder alignment and scope expectations, and provide technical sales assistance for enterprise pursuits.
• Perform performance troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, communicate resolutions to customers and internal stakeholders, and submit product feature requests.
• Deliver customer and team training, create training materials, advise customers on content services platforms, and coach or mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a STEM degree or equivalent certifications and experience.
• 8+ years of consulting or professional services experience in a client-facing delivery role.
• Experience with software implementation best practices, software architecture principles, productive client relationships, and project completion with minimal oversight.
• Experience or proficiency with OSGI, Spring or similar frameworks, JUnit, REST/JAX-RS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Google Polymer, Angular, React, or Vue.
• Knowledge of modern SQL databases, database abstraction, key-value store concepts, JSON, XML, SWIFT, AVRO, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Industry experience in at least one of the following sectors: healthcare, media and entertainment, marketing, graphic design, life sciences or pharmaceuticals, financial services, government, military or intelligence, fashion, or consumer products.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, multitasking, time management, collaboration, leadership, judgment, business acumen, interpersonal, data-gathering, interviewing, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate goals into implementation ideas and design solutions, work independently and collaboratively, operate in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, and create engaging presentations.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and provide timely feedback to team members.
