Senior Strategist (Agile)

Location: Remote, Virginia, United States; must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 annually.

What you will do

• Drive initiatives that improve workforce alignment, delivery practices, strategic performance, and organizational maturity within the National Security business unit.
• Engage DHS HQ and other federal customer leadership to understand needs, provide strategic insight, support planning, and guide expectations.
• Form and measure business strategy goals, evaluate customer delivery performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Improve staffing alignment across contracts and internal operations and support hiring and contract capture as a subject matter expert.
• Lead and sustain Agile coaching circles and communities of practice, drive coaching teams in larger engagements, and support change agents with complex delivery challenges.
• Plan, execute, analyze, and report large-scale collaboration experiences involving ten or more teams.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust are required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 7+ years of consulting experience.
• Experience developing organizational strategy.
• Experience supporting federal agencies; DHS experience is preferred within this requirement.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision, remain accountable to established goals, and collaborate as a team player.
• Strong verbal and written communication, public speaking, facilitation, listening, and consulting management skills.
• Experience with coaching stances including advising, teaching, mentoring, role modeling, and coaching.
• Knowledge and application of Agile practices such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and LeSS, along with team coaching and leadership.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and C-level individuals and apply organizational development, change, and collaboration models.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile tools, including the Atlassian Suite.
• Knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle.
• 7+ years of experience in Product Design and Discovery.
• 7+ years of experience guiding organizational change.
• 7+ years of experience working with senior federal leadership at GS-15/SES level.
• 5+ years of experience in business model generation and value/service proposition design.
