Surface Treatment Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Marseille Area; based at the Marignane site in France. Occasional business travel in Europe is required 1–2 times per year.

hirify.global develops and manufactures helicopters, with this role supporting metallic materials and surface treatment across its helicopter platforms.

What you will do

• Support surface treatment processes used in series production, repair, and maintenance.
• Support industrialization of surface treatment processes across hirify.global facilities.
• Manage and qualify new surface treatments and define design values for design office and production standards.
• Drive transformation and resolution of recurring issues, including corrosion issues.
• Coordinate surface treatment choices with Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Customer Support for new developments.
• Define and manage internal and external research programs on new surface treatments compliant with REACH regulations.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience in surface treatment processes and cross-functional project management.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working across Design Office, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and other cross-functional interfaces.
• Experience with project management, risk management, and issue management.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Negotiation-level French and English.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, pioneering spirit, openness to new ideas, communication skills, negotiation skills, enthusiasm, and drive to support team objectives.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Laboratory Material Process (LMP).
