Autoflight System Certification And Safety Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Certify AutoFlight system modifications by defining certification plans and negotiating with airworthiness authorities.
• Coordinate designers, test centers, pilots, and other stakeholders to establish means of compliance.
• Interface with airworthiness authorities throughout the certification process and during Airworthiness Review Meetings.
• Lead reporting and escalation of potential safety issues identified in in-service aircraft.
• Contribute to preventive and corrective action plans and system safety analyses, including FHA, SSA, CMA, and MMEL activities.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in system safety, system certification and qualification, flight controls, or AutoFlight system development.
• Experience in system architecture, integration, or engineering.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Autonomy and the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Negotiation-level English and French are required.
• Based in Toulouse, France, with work performed at the Toulouse site.
