Transmission System Design Responsible (f/m)

Location: Marignane, France, in the Marseille area; onsite at the Marignane hirify.global Helicopters site

hirify.global Helicopters develops and manufactures helicopters and operates a major industrial site in Marignane.

What you will do

• Define technical objectives and write specifications for helicopter transmission systems.
• Follow detailed design and verify compliance with performance, manufacturing, assembly, and reliability requirements.
• Manage design-change and certification activities according to hirify.global Helicopters processes.
• Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on flight and bench test requests and conclusions.
• Certify transmission systems by preparing documentation and discussing compliance with EASA.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, testing, airworthiness, program, customer support, and transmission equipment suppliers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent five-year degree in mechanical engineering.
• Professional experience in hirify.global Helicopters engineering.
• Rigorous approach and strong synthesis skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced English and negotiation-level French required.
• Security clearance questionnaire required as part of the recruitment process.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aeronautical domain or gearbox design.
• German language skills.
