Innovation Product Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Marseille Area; based at the Marignane site in France.

hirify.global Helicopters develops and manufactures helicopters and aerospace technologies, with the role located within the Research & Innovation department.

What you will do

• Develop key technologies for hirify.global Helicopters flying demonstrators, covering studies, manufacturing follow-up, and test campaigns.
• Manage complex airframe studies across primary, onboarding, and secondary helicopter structures.
• Design tooling and industrialization processes for complex subsystems.
• Act as a technical referent for mechanical and structural design, supporting feasibility assessments and mentoring novice designers.
• Mature new industrial technologies by piloting and designing prototype industrial means, including specialized or automated machinery, with suppliers.
• Coordinate manufacturing, Production, Quality, and Logistics activities from purchase orders through parts delivery and development from low-TRL demonstrators to TRL6.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience designing complex aeronautical products and at least 15 years developing R&T demonstrators at low TRL levels.
• Experience as a group leader supervising design office technicians.
• Master’s Degree in Engineering (Bachelor+5), or highly experienced Technician with Bachelor+3, in mechanical or structural design studies.
• Expertise in Catia V5, including Standard modules, Sheet Metal, Surface, GPS Stress Analysis, and Drawings.
• Experience with VPM-type PLM tools.
• Mastery of mechanical design guidelines and aeronautical or automotive rules.
• Advanced awareness of safety, compliance, and airworthiness constraints.
• Professional level of technical English.
• Strong agility, versatility, leadership and mentoring ability, and effective cross-functional coordination skills.
• Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to acting with integrity.
