Lead Software Developer (Aerospace)

Location: Blagnac - Wings Campus, France; role based in Toulouse, France, with Hamburg Area listed as another location.

What you will do

• Manage system installation work packages covering stress engineering activities.
• Coordinate subcontractor stress activities, including plans, methods, and policies.
• Validate structural justification reports for certification.
• Perform preliminary structural analysis and prepare stress sheets and reports for structural components.
• Support aircraft manufacturing and in-service aircraft activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proven knowledge of structures and structural stress engineering.
• Experience in materials stress, including FEM, and static stress.
• Advanced knowledge of fundamental stress principles and methods, including hand calculations and linear FEA.
• Good knowledge of hirify.global calculation methods and tools.
• Autonomous approach with the ability to react and adapt.
• Open-minded and synthetic approach, with the ability to step back from activities and propose new ideas.
• Openness to new digital technologies and understanding of the benefits of digital solutions.
• Advanced level of English and French.
