Associate Intern (AI)

Location: Berlin, Munich, or Zurich; the role is based in the relevant office and requires work authorization for that office.

What you will do

• Participate in the 10-week Associate Intern Program and work as an active member of client project teams.
• Understand client businesses, customer bases, growth drivers, market conditions, digital trends, and changing customer needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on customer, growth, and transformation questions across business, brand, marketing, and digital strategy.
• Use AI alongside primary and secondary research to generate insights and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Structure ambiguous business questions and develop insightful, actionable recommendations.
• Present points of view and recommendations to senior internal leaders and project teams.

Requirements

• Be a final-year student, recent graduate, or have up to 2 years of experience in a related field outside consulting.
• Hold relevant work authorization for the office where the role is based.
• Have business-level German and English.
• Be able to start the internship between January and July 2027.
• Have familiarity with AI tools, AI strategy or implementation experience, and/or exposure to GenAI applications.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, creative thinking, clear written and verbal communication, curiosity, adaptability, resilience, and drive.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity, challenging assumptions, maintaining high personal standards, and pursuing bold outcomes.
• Use AI tools confidently while applying independent critical thinking and judgment to their outputs.
