Senior Analyst Capital Markets Energy

Location: London, England — One Canada Square, Level 25. Full-time onsite role with travel required for lender presentations, management meetings, and site visits.

What you will do

• Support the execution of project, acquisition, and corporate financings with lenders and external advisors.
• Develop and negotiate term sheets, credit agreements, and other financing documents.
• Develop financing strategies and prepare financing objectives and targets for business plans.
• Support capital structuring and underwriting of M&A targets and development opportunities.
• Assist with obtaining and managing credit ratings and contribute to strategy development in key growth areas.
• Manage lender and investor relationships and contribute to deal structuring, deal execution, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project or corporate finance, investment banking with debt advisory or capital markets experience, or similar roles.
• Experience executing project financings, acquisition financings, and corporate financings.
• Transactional experience, including familiarity with loan documentation and loan closing.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong financial modeling skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Ability to synthesize and conceptualize complex ideas, maintain strong attention to detail, and manage multiple objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment.
• Professional, positive, curious attitude and intellectual curiosity for the subject matter.
• Ability to travel when required for lender presentations, management meetings, and site visits.

Nice to have

• Experience in European power and utilities.
• Recognized professional designation such as CFA or CPA.
• French, Spanish, or German language skills.
