Department Manager for Separate Environment (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Göteborg or Solna, Sweden. The position requires passing security vetting under current security-protection regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply for roles requiring security clearance.

What you will do

• Take overall responsibility for production IT delivery and lead several teams working closely with the business.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members while building trust and strong collaboration.
• Ensure stable, secure, scalable IT infrastructure and high system availability.
• Develop and optimize processes and working methods according to the Governance framework.
• Plan, follow up, and optimize the IT operations budget while managing personnel and delivery responsibilities.
• Work with security managers to ensure a high level of IT security and compliance.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT leadership, such as an IT Operations Manager or a similar leadership role.
• Solid technical background in IT infrastructure, networks, and IT security.
• Experience with the ITIL framework and change and incident management.
• Experience in supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

Nice to have

• University education or equivalent work experience in the IT area.
