Field Application Engineer (Robotics & Automation)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; requires travel worldwide, mostly in EMEA, with up to 30% travel.

What you will do

• Provide expert technical support to customers, accelerate implementation, and reduce time to market.
• Visit key customers with territory managers and business developers to provide system-level application guidance.
• Advise customers on servo drives, integrated motion technologies, and best-fit solutions for mission-critical motion control systems.
• Work with product managers on product features and usability improvements.
• Deliver technical training to colleagues, distributors, partners, and customers.
• Document customer applications, develop customer-facing demos, benchmark competitors, and create technical materials for tradeshows and technology promotion.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in an engineering discipline, such as Electronics, Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in design engineering, applications engineering, high-technology sales support, or field service.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers, partners, and internal colleagues.
• Results-driven, customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team.
• High level of English.
• Valid passport and ability to travel around the world, mostly in EMEA, as required.
