Electronic Warefare System Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain. Hybrid work model with 40% of the quarter when possible. Occasional business travel to Germany and mainly France is required.

What you will do

• Take functional and system design responsibility for Electronic Warfare systems and subsystems within the Mission System department.
• Design, develop, integrate, qualify, and certify Electronic Warfare equipment for the Tiger MkIII program.
• Define end-to-end functional chains, mechanical, electrical, and logical installation documentation, requirements, and human-machine interfaces.
• Manage technical interfaces with helicopter platform systems, project management, quality, procurement, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Plan and monitor supplier and helicopter-level development and qualification activities, assess supplier offers, and safeguard technical requirements.
• Prepare functional integration into helicopter avionics architecture, support associated software development, define ground and flight test procedures, analyze results, and support integration rigs and testing.

Requirements

• Aeronautical or Telecommunication Engineering degree, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in system design, including the design, development, engineering, and/or integration of aircraft systems.
• Technical knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems, mission systems, and integration systems.
• Advanced English level.
• High adaptability to new topics and business areas, with the ability to work in a networking mode.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
• Ability to travel for business to Germany occasionally and France mainly.
