Operations Business Analyst II - Finance Enablement (Finance Transformation)

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA; other locations include Portland, Maine, Atlanta, Georgia, and Columbia, South Carolina. Full-time position.

Base salary: $63,500–$120,000 per year, based on skills, geographic location, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead complex and cross-functional requirements elicitation and validation sessions with finance partners.
• Assess current-state finance processes, define requirements, and develop data-driven target-state recommendations.
• Document procedures, create operational readiness plans, and develop prototypes to illustrate requirements.
• Analyze data from multiple sources, assess system-change impacts, and develop integrated solutions.
• Support project planning, agile ceremonies, deliverable management, and resolution of complex problems.
• Translate business, system, and non-functional requirements into traceable functional specifications while mentoring junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of systems and business analysis experience.
• Experience with requirements gathering, work decomposition, change management, project management, and agile methodologies.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of databases and SQL.
• Finance or finance transformation experience in life and health insurance or related financial services.
• Strong facilitation, communication, consultative, problem-solving, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
