Junior Technical Project Manager Cloud PSL

Location: Getafe, Ottobrunn or Manching; other locations include München Area. The position is offered on a part-time basis of at least 80% per week with an adapted scope of tasks or on a full-time basis.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of cloud projects throughout the lifecycle from opportunity to Entry-into-Service.
• Lead projects for internal container platforms, including OpenShift and Vanilla Kubernetes, as well as IaaS infrastructure.
• Coordinate connectivity projects with external public cloud environments such as AWS and sovereign cloud.
• Define requirements with business partners and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, budget, resources, risks, opportunities, contracts, and suppliers.
• Coordinate product managers, technical and developer teams, service delivery managers, matrix functions, partners, and suppliers.
• Plan releases and prioritise EPICS, track progress and actuals, present updates to steering committees, and manage handover into service.

Requirements

• Apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education, with a focus on IT.
• Project management expertise using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Good technical understanding sufficient to communicate with technical teams and stakeholders, primarily around cloud-native applications.
• Collaborative, self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented profile.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong team-player skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Prior high-level experience with a programming language, infrastructure, or another IT-related field.
• German, Spanish, or French language skills.
