Technical Manager for R&T - Technological Projects (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Getafe Site, Spain; onsite role.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and direction for assigned engineering and technological projects.
• Capture, analyze, and manage customer and program requirements for the Concept of Operations and product specifications.
• Select, propose, and approve technologies through trade studies and concurrent development options to meet maturity milestones.
• Define technical work breakdown structures, development schedules, and technical risk management plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, Centers of Competence, external consortia, industrial partners, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Manage maturity gates, technical progress, issues, risks, opportunities, engineering resources, budgets, and proposal generation including technical Statements of Work and effort estimations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Skills in issue resolution and interface management within functional groups.
• Ability to manage and coordinate internal personnel and external subcontracting companies.
• Good communication, collaboration, proactivity, and teamwork skills.
• Spanish and English language skills.
