Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery (all genders) (e-commerce)

Location: Hybrid in Hamburg, Germany

Salary: EUR 70,000–85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead complex IT implementation projects in an e-commerce environment from planning through go-live and early operations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, clients, and external implementation partners.
• Adapt the project approach for direct customer onboarding and partner-agency implementations.
• Monitor progress, communicate updates, and maintain clear project documentation.
• Contribute to improvements in project delivery processes and ways of working.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex IT or e-commerce implementation projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects from initiation through go-live.
• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience independently managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with clients, product teams, and external partners.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with fluent German and English.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS implementation or onboarding projects.
• Experience in e-commerce or retail.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum.org.
