Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Remote within the United States, with required travel to New York City for 1–2 days up to 4 times per year. Office location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065.

Salary: $139,110.00–$204,700.00 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver the full development life cycle for complex projects, including analysis, design, programming, testing, integration, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Build backend services, APIs, applications, and database integrations that meet complex business requirements.
• Design system architecture, data flows, data storage, interfaces, technical specifications, and performance optimizations.
• Create test plans, test cases, data, and scripts; coordinate systems, integration, and enterprise-wide testing.
• Plan and coordinate implementations, enhancements, upgrades, estimates, and migrations from development to production.
• Provide technical leadership and internal consulting while supporting application availability, contingency planning, and maintainable reusable code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in the position offered or a related role.
• 5 years of experience building backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• 5 years of experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• 1 year of experience building frontend applications using JavaScript frameworks including React or jQuery.
• 1 year of experience using cloud services including AWS or Azure.
• 1 year of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
• 1 year of experience using Agile methodologies.
