Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Remote in the United States; other location: Fort Lee, New Jersey

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and backend components for the Lending team.
• Build enterprise-grade systems using .NET 10, Python, databases, messaging, containers, and AWS.
• Plan, triage, and prioritize engineering work.
• Design distributed systems and event-driven architecture.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise systems with C# or Python.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with nHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, modern software design patterns, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with cloud architecture, preferably AWS, and Docker or containerization.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases, financial industry or accounting concepts.
• Exposure to MassTransit, NServiceBus, RabbitMQ, and idempotency.
