Senior Electrical Engineer (Secure Issuance)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands. Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the Netherlands; international relocation and remote work outside the hiring country are not considered.

What you will do

• Deliver electrical designs for customer-specific projects within schedules, meeting customer requirements, machine safety standards, and Product Creation Process documentation requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into electrical specifications, detailed designs, schematics, bills of materials, drawings, configuration lists, process flowcharts, and machine-safety PLC software.
• Review, test, and validate electrical designs for functionality, safety, manufacturability, and standardization; develop test setups and protocols for Assembly & Test.
• Support Assembly & Test, Service, and project teams with technical questions, improvements, knowledge transfer, and end-of-life issue resolution.
• Coordinate outsourced electrical design work and suppliers, including instructions, progress monitoring, quality reviews, and component selection with Purchasing.
• Lead project engineering activities, coach Electrical Engineers, and collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Development, customers, suppliers, and international colleagues.

Requirements

• Senior-level electrical engineering experience.
• Fluent English.
• Dutch language skills.
• Experience designing electrical systems, creating electrical schematics and bills of materials, and documenting electrical specifications.
• Ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into electrical specifications and machine designs.
• Ability to test and validate designs for functionality and safety against specifications and applicable safety standards.
• Ability to collaborate across electrical, mechanical, software, development, assembly, service, purchasing, supplier, and customer teams.
• Applicants must already be legally authorized to reside and work in the Netherlands.
