Service Manager (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Service O&M Supervisors across a regional, multi-site service portfolio.
• Own Long-Term Service Agreement execution, including contractual scope, performance obligations, cost control, and commercial alignment.
• Manage customer relationships, escalations, service KPIs, operational readiness, and project handovers.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, onboarding, performance, SLAs, KPIs, safety compliance, and contract negotiations.
• Manage customer and OEM warranty obligations, claims, extensions, and complex contractual issues.
• Coordinate resources, incident management, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled service tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading service, operations, or O&M teams in regional or multi-site environments.
• Experience with LTSAs, O&M contracts, or long-term service agreements for complex assets.
• Strong commercial, financial, communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing leadership skills.
• Fluent English, a valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel regionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems, renewable energy assets, or complex industrial systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS, ticketing systems, and digital service platforms.
• Experience managing subcontractors and OEM interfaces across multiple countries.
• Safety and technical certifications, or willingness to obtain certifications required for site access and operational oversight.
