Service Center Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; shift-based onsite manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily manufacturing activities, priorities, and production progress across teams and consecutive shifts.
• Lead the work area and represent the team in technical and operational discussions.
• Resolve technical issues, escalate complex risks, and cooperate with manufacturing, planning, engineering, logistics, and technical support teams.
• Check materials, tools, equipment, and products for availability, accuracy, and quality.
• Support new product and process introductions by following approved testing and production requirements.
• Identify recurring shop-floor issues, lead structured improvements, and maintain production records, reports, and shift handovers.

Requirements

• Secondary vocational education with at least three years of relevant manufacturing experience, or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Practical manufacturing knowledge and experience working with mechanical or electrical components.
• Hands-on experience using precision tools, technical instructions, and controlled manufacturing procedures.
• Experience supporting colleagues and coordinating work in a production or technical service environment.
• Ability to collaborate with production teams, planners, engineers, and supporting departments.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, analyze production issues, and develop practical solutions within safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to take ownership of priorities, progress, documentation, and shift handovers; constructively challenge processes and implement measurable improvements.
• Ability to coach less-experienced colleagues, share technical knowledge, and protect workplace safety and well-being.
• Legal authorization to access technology controlled under United States export regulations before starting work.

Nice to have

• Experience using SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.
• Experience collecting production data and preparing reports with Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
