Senior Reconciliations and Payments Analyst (Fixed Term Cover) (Fintech)

hirify.global operates a fintech payment environment where reconciliation processes ensure that client balances are backed by cash held in banks.

What you will do

• Monitor daily reconciliation and verify that bank-held cash matches client balances in internal systems.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, involving engineering for internal issues and banks or payment providers for external issues.
• Maintain vendor, regulatory, month-end, and other recurring reporting with a high level of accuracy.
• Use Excel and data visualization tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar to monitor reconciliation data.
• Handle occasional manual money transfers and coordinate with engineering, treasury, and external banking partners.
• Contribute to automating manual reconciliation processes using AI and other tools.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations, including relevant experience as a reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation exposure.
• Comfortable using Excel and experienced with data visualization or BI tools such as Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Working understanding of payment schemes and how money moves between banks and internal systems.
• Diligent and detail-oriented approach, particularly when handling money movements.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced and frequently changing environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners, including banks.
• Available to start immediately or on very short notice.
• Open to a fixed-term contract of approximately five months, with a possible extension depending on business needs.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a neobank or fintech such as N26 or a similar company.
• Mathematical or quantitative background.
• Previous experience building or improving automation in reconciliation or payments workflows.
• Basic SQL or data analysis skills.
