Senior Collections & Accounts Receivable Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Bogotá, Colombia; hybrid work with required office attendance in the Parque de la 93 area 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Manage an assigned end-to-end B2B accounts receivable portfolio, maximizing recovery and reducing past-due balances.
• Monitor and optimize AI-driven collection workflows and contact strategies.
• Identify high-risk or deteriorating accounts and provide actionable insights to the Risk Team.
• Coordinate with Collections, Go-To-Market, Customer Support, Accounting, and Payment Application teams.
• Manage external collection agencies and preliminary legal matters for non-performing accounts.
• Conduct executive outreach, investigate non-payment, and prepare cases for write-offs or payment restructures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Experience with corporate liquidity and financial risk mitigation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills, with the ability to manage AI-driven systems and CRM or collections databases.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and maintain meticulous follow-up.
