Investment Products Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; relocation to the Luxembourg office is required. Hybrid schedule with three days per week in-office and the option to request additional remote time.

What you will do

• Supervise the daily lifecycle of tens of thousands of retail trades and resolve execution discrepancies, batch order exceptions, and failed settlements.
• Act as the primary operational contact for custody partners, execution partners, and transfer agents handling mutual fund subscriptions and redemptions and equity/ETF trades.
• Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal platform logs and external partner reports.
• Track and resolve cash or unit discrepancies and escalate systemic operational issues.
• Bridge Luxembourg finance and business operations with Milan-based product and engineering teams, translating operational issues into platform requirements.
• Lead operational setup, testing, and launch workflows for new products, including crypto assets, pension funds, and robo-advisory offerings.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fintech or investment operations, with a background in wealthtech, retail brokerage, or investment management operations.
• Hands-on experience with mutual funds, equities, ETFs, or crypto products.
• Direct experience working with third-party custodians, trade execution partners, and transfer agents.
• Experience operating within fast-growing retail platforms and building repeatable, automated processes that reduce manual intervention as trading volumes scale.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and readiness to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English.
