Finance Specialist (Treasury and Reporting)

Location: Hybrid, based in Spain; Madrid is strongly preferred. Flexible working model with remote work flexibility.

hirify.global is a sports digitalization product company operating a racket sports app for players and clubs, headquartered in Spain.

What you will do

• Execute and control group payment runs across international entities, including supplier payments, taxes, intercompany settlements, and club payouts.
• Optimize payment timing and working capital while anticipating payment peaks and supporting supplier relationships.
• Help centralize payment flows from Accounting, Tax, and Billing into Treasury and support multi-bank, multi-currency banking operations.
• Build weekly and monthly cash-flow reporting in the Embat TMS, including actuals versus forecast, variance analysis, and cash-position visibility.
• Prepare cash-reporting inputs for the VP Corporate Finance and C-Level, and maintain KPIs covering payments, DPO, and cash position by entity.
• Identify and implement automation across payment files, approvals, reconciliations, month-end close, recurring reporting, TMS modules, integrations, and dashboards.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or accounts payable, ideally in a multi-entity or multi-currency company.
• Good understanding of accruals versus cash and reconciliations between bank and accounting records.
• Hands-on experience executing SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, or wire payments and working with banking portals.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to turn payment and bank data into reliable reporting.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented approach with respect for controls, approvals, and audit trails.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment, take ownership, and learn quickly.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Based in Spain; Madrid is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Interest in applying automation and AI tools to finance processes.
• Experience centralizing payment processes or implementing payment controls, including exposure to PSPs such as Stripe or payment orchestration tools.
• Experience using Treasury Management Systems.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite by Oracle.
