Project Supply Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Represent Procurement to Programmes and Programmes to Procurement, capturing needs, consolidating action plans, and tracking milestones, cost, quality, risks, and opportunities.
• Define procurement approaches and coordinate tender evaluation, supplier selection, and negotiation processes.
• Coordinate Procurement Contract Management, Commodity Management, Supply Chain and Quality Management, and Supplier Development Management functions.
• Act as the focal point for product procurement and purchasing matters, including subcontracted hardware such as EGSEs and harnesses.
• Prepare cost brochures and consolidated Supply Management reporting covering hardware cost, total cost of ownership, non-quality cost, OQ/OT metrics, issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure purchasing and procurement processes are applied consistently and facilitate information exchange and lessons learned between projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or finance.
• Negotiation-level English and Spanish.
• Experience in Procurement, Legal, and/or Commercial functions.
• Successful experience drafting and negotiating procurement and/or commercial contracts.
• Experience dealing with customers and/or suppliers, including interfacing with suppliers’ senior management and conveying requirements.
• Good knowledge and experience in supplier proposal review, negotiation, export control, subcontract management, supplier management, change processes, invoicing and payment, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, multifunctional teamwork, flexibility, proactive behaviour, negotiation, business orientation, active listening, and leadership skills.
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise workload.
