Communications Commodity Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

hirify.global develops and supports aerospace and defence platforms, including UAS and FCAS, through transnational procurement and supply-chain operations.

What you will do

• Establish, implement, and monitor the communications commodity strategy, including market analysis, cost drivers, global pricing, and technology evolution.
• Lead and coordinate the sub-commodity multifunctional team across Engineering, Finance, PMO, and Quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, risk assessments, financial analysis, and supplier development programs such as SED and Vendor Management.
• Drive bids, tenders, supplier selection, and make-or-buy business cases to conclusion.
• Lead negotiations and establish contractual agreements, including existing contract management and new long-term contracts.
• Contribute to procurement and value-creation projects focused on synergies, cost savings, and innovation.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement, Engineering, Services, or Project Management activities.
• Proven ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Successful experience working in matrix environments, including stakeholder and conflict management.
• Ability to empower and motivate others.
• Negotiation-level English.

• Knowledge of SAP.
