Supply Chain Quality Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Madrid Area; work at Airbus CRISA in Tres Cantos, Spain

What you will do

• Manage supplier contract execution, quality performance, milestones, product life-cycle reviews, deliverables, and On Quality On Time performance.
• Coordinate supplier operations with procurement, supply chain, product assurance, and multifunctional or multidivisional teams.
• Lead supplier audits, inspections, assessments, qualification, approval, authorization, surveillance, and industrial maturity reviews.
• Define and monitor corrective, recovery, improvement, development, and risk-mitigation plans to improve supplier quality, delivery, capability, and capacity.
• Support sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, supplier selection, supplier evaluation, and contract management across the full life cycle.
• Perform procurement activities for direct and indirect materials, including battery procurement, while optimizing customer value and total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Spanish and English at negotiation level.
• At least 2 years of experience in supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of electronic components, mechanical parts, and electronics manufacturing.
• Experience working with customers and/or suppliers, including communication with suppliers’ senior management.
• SAP knowledge and negotiation skills with suppliers and/or customers.
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented, business-oriented, and digitalization-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder management, multifunctional teamwork, persuasion, active listening, decision-making, and flexibility skills.
• Ability to manage risks, opportunities, uncertainty, pressure, and crisis situations, with strong focus on quality, schedule, and costs.
