Business Analyst Intern (AI)

Location: Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona, Spain. Applicants must be enrolled at a university in Spain, remain enrolled until the end of the internship, and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with their university. Availability is required from February 2027 through June–July 2027.

What you will do

• Support commercial opportunity and deal analysis by combining financial, pricing, and business information.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources, identifying trends, inconsistencies, and actionable insights.
• Identify repetitive or inefficient activities and propose ways to simplify, standardize, and scale processes.
• Explore practical applications of AI and automation to accelerate analysis, improve data quality, and reduce manual work.
• Create dashboards, summaries, and recommendations that communicate complex information clearly to business stakeholders.
• Own specific analyses or process-improvement projects from problem definition through recommendation.

Requirements

• Student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about how businesses work.
• Comfort working with data and good Excel skills.
• Interest in AI, automation, and new digital tools.
• Ability to structure complex information and communicate conclusions clearly.
• Proactive approach to questioning and improving existing processes.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent or strong professional English.
• Must be enrolled at a university in Spain, remain enrolled through the internship, and be eligible to sign a university internship agreement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or other visualization or analytics tools.
• Exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Basic knowledge of financial analysis, pricing, or commercial concepts.
• Professional proficiency in additional languages.
