Lead Transformation Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; full-time permanent employment.

What you will do

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, gather business requirements, and analyze processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and transformation opportunities.
• Design and document process improvements, system enhancements, and digital, data-driven, and AI solutions with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Manage expectations and alignment across business units, internal IT teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support change management and adoption of new digital tools, workflows, and automated systems.
• Support project scheduling, milestone tracking, planning, UAT coordination, and functional validation.
• Define KPIs, monitor project outcomes, and prepare status reports and executive presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst driving transformation initiatives specifically in Digital, Data, or AI domains.
• Experience with process modeling and requirements management tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical capabilities and business process mapping skills.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Full working proficiency or fluency in English, with the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
• Agile certifications such as PSPO or CSPO.
• Direct experience participating in enterprise-scale Data, AI, or Automation transformation projects.
