DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Hybrid, mostly on-site, in Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia) preferred; Warsaw also considered. Approximately 25% remote.

Rate: Up to 150 PLN/h net on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Deploy and run applications in production environments.
• Provision, configure, and maintain development, test, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate build, release, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration processes.
• Support application onboarding and migration to an on-premises Kubernetes platform and later to cloud infrastructure.
• Write and maintain Python and Shell scripts and manage automation code and configuration in Git.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, support incident and root cause analysis, and improve reliability, performance, availability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating build, release, and production processes.
• Experience deploying and running applications in production and provisioning and maintaining development, test, and production environments.
• Working knowledge of Git.
• A proactive approach to automation and identifying production incidents and instabilities.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience onboarding applications to an on-premises Kubernetes platform and later to the cloud.
• Database experience, such as Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
