DevOps Software Engineering Intern

Location: Hybrid, Poland, Gdansk; work is split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site.

Salary: Minimum annual base salary of 68 880,00 zł (PLN).

What you will do

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to optimize development and release processes.
• Support automation workflows that improve software deployment efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and software engineering teams on development infrastructure and monitoring systems.
• Work on containerization, cloud integration, and deployment strategies for reliable and scalable solutions.
• Participate in team projects, learning opportunities, and initiatives aligned with hirify.global's business goals.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and Git.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Relevant qualifications may be gained through industry experience, internships, schoolwork, classes, or research.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience or familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Interest in infrastructure automation tools or coding and scripting, including Ansible, Terraform, or Docker.
