DevOps/SRE Engineer (AI Inference)

Location: Remote from Poland, Serbia, Georgia, or Cyprus

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure GitLab CI/CD pipelines for an AI inference product.
• Automate vulnerability scanning for Docker images and software dependencies.
• Investigate and remediate vulnerabilities while hardening container images and reducing attack surfaces.
• Implement container image signing and verification to protect software supply chain integrity.
• Automate security checks and enforce security policies throughout the CI/CD lifecycle.
• Secure and maintain Kubernetes workloads, configurations, and deployments.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Docker, container security, image optimization, and vulnerability management.
• Practical experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience covering workload deployment, configuration, and security.
• Strong understanding of Linux security, system hardening, and container vulnerability scanning tools such as Trivy or Grype.
• Familiarity with container image signing and verification using Cosign or Sigstore.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills with a security-first mindset.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security controls, software supply chain security, SBOMs, artifact provenance, and hardened container images.
• Experience with Helm, container registries, CIS Benchmarks, OWASP, or NIST.
• Experience with OPA Gatekeeper, Kyverno, Falco, Kubescape, kube-bench, Terraform, Ansible, SLSA, Renovate, or Dependabot.
