IT Systems Engineer (Automation)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; in-office hybrid or full-time. Remote work is possible only from within Poland, and relocation to Poland is required for candidates residing abroad.

Salary: 12,900–17,700 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Design, test, implement, and maintain automation scripts and applications using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Identify high-impact automation opportunities and lead projects that improve the Systems Engineering team’s velocity.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and CI/CD tooling across operating systems and cloud environments.
• Administer and automate Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, ITSECOPS, and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.
• Document implemented tools and processes and continuously improve them using modern IT automation practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in IT process automation, programming, or advanced systems administration.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one scripting language, such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying automation tools in production environments.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, version control, CI/CD, Ansible or comparable configuration management tools, and Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience with operating systems, cloud platforms, monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Prometheus, and visualization platforms such as Grafana.
• Working proficiency in both Polish and English.
