Release Manager (DevOps)

Location: Remote within Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania

What you will do

• Plan release schedules and maintain the enterprise release calendar.
• Coordinate development, testing, operations, and business teams throughout the release lifecycle.
• Lead release readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, risk management, dependency tracking, and rollback planning.
• Ensure compliance with quality, audit, traceability, and release governance requirements.
• Support CI/CD integration, release automation, deployment metrics, reporting, and dashboards.
• Coordinate post-release hypercare, defect triage, operational handover, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• University degree at EQF Level 6 with 12+ years of IT experience, or secondary education granting access to higher education with 17+ years of IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and DevSecOps delivery models.
• Experience with Git, SVN, or Mercurial; Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps; and Maven, Gradle, or Ant.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, release orchestration, scripting, monitoring, and logging tools.
• English or French proficiency at B2 level or higher, plus ITIL 4 Foundation or an Agile delivery methodology certification.
