Commodity Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Design and implement long-term category strategies and sourcing roadmaps aligned with financial and operational objectives.
• Lead complex negotiations covering pricing, contractual terms, and Service Level Agreements to deliver measurable cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships by identifying, vetting, onboarding, and reviewing supplier performance.
• Conduct market intelligence and analysis covering price volatility, commodity trends, and macroeconomic shifts.
• Implement contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity and supply security.
• Align Engineering, Quality, Finance, Programs, and Operations with sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in strategic category management, global sourcing, and complex contract negotiation.
• Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• High adaptability, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels and work in a networking mode.
• Advanced English.
• Advanced proficiency in data-driven decision-making and analytical tools for supply chain market analysis.
