Program Management Specialist (Aerospace & Defence)

Location: Fremantle, Australia. On-site role. Australian citizenship is required to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Manage assigned projects from bid development through execution.
• Align project delivery with strategic objectives, budget constraints, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Maintain high standards of project governance and apply strong analytical and communication practices.
• Manage subcontracting activities and project scope across relevant delivery stages.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience of 3–5 years.
• 1–3 years of project management experience.
• Experience in subcontract management or administration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
• Australian citizenship required to obtain and hold the required clearance.

Nice to have

• Defence or other formal project management training.
• Knowledge or experience with maritime and naval platforms.
• Knowledge or experience of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience managing and delivering scope across the full systems engineering lifecycle, including acquisition and support.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
