Contract Manufacturing Manager (Electronics)

Location: Hybrid, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The position is based in Taiwan and requires approximately 30–40% travel, including periodic supplier visits.

What you will do

• Oversee contract manufacturing partners and coordinate engineering, technical, process-safety, sourcing, procurement, and cross-functional support.
• Lead supplier performance management, improvement strategies, audits, and reviews across safety, quality, production, reliability, yield, permit compliance, releases, delivery, service, and cost.
• Manage critical supplier issues, crisis response, incident notifications, investigations, corrective actions, and supplier-related Management of Change.
• Own supplier documentation, including Operations Plans, Supply Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Technology Packages, and related records.
• Monitor supplier spend through SAP and coordinate metric reporting, communications, and governance with internal stakeholders and the Contract Manufacturing Center of Excellence.
• Project-manage product-line additions and transitions of new activities at existing or new suppliers, including Operations Plan development and Return to Operation checklist execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Five or more years of manufacturing operations and/or supply chain experience.
• Fluency in English, including effective written and spoken communication.
• Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships, drive results through accountability and collaboration, and work effectively across functions.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs, prioritize work to meet deadlines, manage multiple objectives, and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment.

Nice to have

• Strong manufacturing background.
• Technical knowledge of electronics and industrial product manufacturing.
• Experience with semiconductor or comparable change-control protocols and quality systems.
• Familiarity with new product introduction, Management of Change, and root-cause investigation.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• CPIM Part 1 certification.
