Associate Industrial Engineer (Warehouse)

Location: Hanover, NH; travel up to 10% to other Hypertherm offices or possible trade shows

Base pay: $66,207–$110,347 annually

What you will do

• Define work methods for warehouse areas and lead projects improving product flow through multiple work cells.
• Develop and integrate safety procedures covering job safety analysis, ergonomics, PPE, machine guarding, and lockout.
• Provide daily technical support, training, and equipment programming, operation, and maintenance support to warehouse and production teams.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify performance trends, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and workstations for new product introduction; support equipment and tooling investigation and purchasing.
• Create and maintain quality, productivity, delivery, standard work, value stream mapping, data collection, engineering change, routing, and bill-of-material documents and reports.

Requirements

• Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering within the last three years or by May 2027.
• Internship or co-op experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment focused on process and equipment improvement.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills and a focus on identifying root causes.
• Proactive approach to implementing new technology and continuous improvement; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, statistical analysis using Minitab, GD&T, SolidWorks, VSM, DFM, and pFMEA.

Nice to have

• Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Oracle WMS or equivalent ERP experience.
• Experience integrating Autonomous Mobile Robots.
• Database management tools, including Power BI.
• Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
