Senior Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Own manufacturing performance for assigned product lines and lead production improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and complex cross-functional issues through validated resolution.
• Use production data, metrics, and statistical methods to prioritize waste reduction, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Lead manufacturing readiness during new product introduction and production handoff, incorporating production lessons into new designs and processes.
• Influence design, quality, and supply chain decisions through manufacturability analysis and data-driven recommendations.
• Establish standardized approaches to problem solving, process control, engineering changes, risk assessment, and production documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of Manufacturing or Sustaining Engineering experience, preferably with scientific instrumentation, sensors, industrial equipment, or complex electromechanical systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis, statistical methods, process improvement, lean manufacturing, process validation, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing data management, 3D CAD using SolidWorks, and mechanical drafting.
• Hands-on prototyping and testing experience, including machine shop tools and rapid prototyping methods.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, independent working, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with product lifecycle management systems.
• Background in CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or additive manufacturing.
