Production Planner (SAP)

Location: Shanghai, China; onsite

Salary: 150,000–200,000 CNY per year

What you will do

• Prepare, maintain, and optimize short- and medium-term production plans in SAP based on customer demand, inventory targets, material availability, equipment status, and delivery priorities.
• Sequence production orders according to product characteristics, vessel capacity, cleaning requirements, changeover time, campaign opportunities, personnel availability, and equipment constraints.
• Coordinate filling and packaging activities with production capacity, material readiness, and customer delivery requirements.
• Prepare production documents and labels, monitor production and delivery dates, and confirm delivery dates to SCM.
• Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of planning processes, reports, master data, and planning tools to reduce manual effort and improve data quality and decision speed.
• Support improvements in schedule accuracy, on-time delivery, stock levels, KPI achievement, SAP usage, and compliance with quality and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Engineering, or another related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in production planning, supply planning, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP system, with a solid understanding of production planning, material management, master data, capacity planning, and scheduling.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive, and able to work as part of a team.
• Customer-focused attitude with strong communication and coordination skills.
